NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania’s annual Child and Adolescent Mental Health Conference will take place on Friday, June 8, 2018, at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott. This day-long event unifies families, caregivers, and behavioral health professionals who will discuss best practices and new discoveries in youth mental wellness. This year’s conference is titled, Expanding the Conversation: Giving Voice to Children, Adolescents, and Families in the Behavioral Health System. Presenters will discuss how through research, practice, and advocacy they’re giving children and families the confidence to come forward and talk about their mental health concerns despite the stigma, while also giving them tools they need to play an active role in identifying and addressing challenges.

Morning Keynote Address  |  “Collaborative & Proactive Solutions: Fostering the Better Side of Human Nature in Classrooms and Families”  Ross Greene, PhD, Founding Director, Lives in the Balance; adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Virginia Tech; and adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Science at the University of Technology Sydney in Australia.
