Invitation to Participate in School Health Needs Survey by NASN

Hello,

We are asking your participation on an online survey to learn about the health needs of the youth in your area and the role of school health. The survey is for all school nurses, their supervisors, and pupil services directors in the 11 counties* served by the Moses Taylor Foundation, which we believe includes you!

 *The counties covered by Moses Taylor Foundation include Bradford, Carbon, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Schuylkill, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Wayne, and Wyoming

In addition to CSNs, all RNs and LPNs, Pupil Services Directors, and supervisors of school nurses working in the schools are encouraged to participate in the survey!!!

Recognizing the key role that school nurses play in the health and education of children in our communities, Moses Taylor Foundation recently launched a new initiative to support school nurses in these efforts.  As a first step in this initiative, the Foundation is partnering with the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) to conduct a needs assessment of Northeast Pennsylvania to learn about the health of school age children, and in particular look at the needs of school health services and school nurses. This survey is part of the needs assessment. We estimate the survey will take 20 minutes to complete. For those who participate, there will be a random drawing for 8 gift cards worth $25 each!
