Legislative Auction 2020

The PASNAP school nurse conference, scheduled for March 27-29, is quickly approaching. During the conference “School Nursing:  Rooted in Values, growing through Knowledge,” we will conduct our legislative auction.

PASNAP dues cannot be used for political activity so we need to have a School Nurse PAC (political action committee), which is funded solely by donations. This fund enables us to send our legislative consultant, Morgan Plant, to political events where she can discuss our issues with legislators and government officials. This is also important in assisting  Morgan as she does a great job of keeping us up to date on pending legislation that can impact the important work we do as school nurses.

The legislative auction is the largest source of revenue for the PAC fund, so be generous and creative as you design a basket/item for the auction. You can drop a basket/item for the auction off at the conference registration desk before the start of the conference. If you are not attending the conference and would like to donate a basket/item, it is no problem.  All you have to do is contact your region representative or send a general email to PASNAPnurses@gmail.com.  Our PASNAP board members will make arrangements for pick-up and delivery of your generous contribution. Make sure your basket/item is clearly identified and please list all the wonderful items that your basket includes. You can donate as a group or an individual.
