Dear Friends in School Nursing,
We hope you are all staying healthy and safe!
In the Fall of 2020, you participated in Moses Taylor Foundation’s School Nurse PPE and Sanitation Supply Program, which provided free supplies to be used in the school nurse office during the pandemic. Due to an ongoing expressed need for those supplies, we have decided to open a second round of the program in partnership with AllOne Foundation and Charities. We encourage you all to reapply for this second round of supplies!
We have made a few adjustments to the contents of the packages based on feedback we received from you. This time, each package will include the following: one infrared thermometer, 20 KN 95 masks, 10 face shields, 750 disinfectant wipes, 250 adult 3 ply masks, 50 pediatric 3 ply masks, 20 gowns, 1,000 nitrile gloves, and four hand sanitizer pumps with three refills.
Eligibility guidelines will remain the same: Certified School Nurses employed by public school districts serving Bradford, Carbon, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Schuylkill, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Wayne, and Wyoming Counties are eligible to apply. The application process will also be the same as last time, so please visit https://formstack.io/D0A00 to once again complete the short application form. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly.
We appreciate all you have done, and continue to do, to keep our children safe and healthy! We look forward to continuing to work with you as part of Moses Taylor Foundation’s five-year strategic initiative to support school nurses as you work on the front lines of student health.
Thank you,
Christine Marcos | Program Officer
