#TickCheckChallenge from PA Lyme Resource Network

We relaunched the #TickCheckChallenge for this May! Details below - please share with your networks.
PA Lyme Resource Network (www.palyme.org) and Invisible International launched the #TickCheckChallenge in May 2021. We are launching it again this year. The goal is to encourage kids to do tick checks. We teamed up with comedic children’s songwriters Louis and Dan and the Invisible Band to create a fun song/video and dance to help kids (and adults!) remember to check for ticks.
The challenge part of the initiative is recording your own Tik-Tok style interpretation of the “tick check” dance, sharing it on social media channels, and challenging/tagging 3 friends to do the same. Be sure to use #TickCheckChallenge so that we can find your video and help spread the word. If you have a private social media account, be sure to send your video - or video link - to us via direct messaging on any social platform.

The song /video is perfect for kids to learn how to do a tick check and the dance helps them remember what to do!

Last - the #TickCheckChallenge won 2021’s first ever Health and Human Services LymeX Healthathon! We were awarded commemorative coins and recognition on the HHS website and social media platforms.
