Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern PA Grief and Bereavement Retreat

For the past few years we at the Epilepsy Foundation Eastern PA have been wanting to do a grief support group or retreat for our community members who have lost loved ones due to epilepsy and seizure-related events. We are sorry it has taken us this long to put something together but we are making this a priority for 2023 and I am happy to announce that we will be running a Grief & Bereavement Retreat on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 10am- 2pm at Traber Center at Camp Sankanac located at 10 Traber Ln, Spring City, PA 19475.

EFEPA Staff and our partners from local loss and bereavement centers across our region for an afternoon to honor and remember loved ones lost to epilepsy and seizure-related deaths. Grief counselors and EFEPA Staff will lead small group discussions and therapeutic activities, as we enjoy the tranquility and nature of Camp Sankanac, in Chester County, PA. This event is open to all ages, though attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Complimentary lunch will be served.
