Summary of School Nursing Assessment Results

In May-June 2022 many of you participated in a survey that was part of a project The Center for School Health Innovation & Quality was conducting that was funded by the Moses Taylor Foundation in Pennsylvania.

We appreciate your input and want you to know that the data was invaluable for the project. You can read the executive summary of the research by here. The Moses Taylor Foundation asked we specifically send it out to those who participated in the survey so that you can see the final results of your efforts.  (Since the survey was anonymous-we are doing our best to get the word out through the channels was asked and through emails of those who provided them for the gift card drawings. The gift cards have been sent).

The focus of the report is Northeastern Pennsylvania and there are definitely national implications that would apply to nearly any school nurses. We encourage you to also share it with your school nursing colleagues, administrators, school board members, and other key stakeholders whose roles impact student health.
