Camp Achieve 2024 is still in need of Medical Volunteers for Saturday, August 10th to Friday, August 16th

Posted 3 months ago

Good Afternoon Medical Professionals,

Camp Achieve 2024 is still in need of Medical Volunteers to help us staff Camp Achieve from Saturday, August 10th to Friday, August 16th. If you've already reached out to volunteer for Camp Achieve, thank you so much!
Attached here to this email is the current schedule of medical professionals who have volunteered their time at Camp Achieve, as well as the holes we still need to fill. Looking at this spreadsheet, the yellow vacancies are the ones we most need filled most urgently, as these will provide us with the medical coverage necessary to run program.
If you have already RSVP'd to volunteer, thank you! And, please take a moment to review the attached schedule and verify the days/times I've got you down for. (If you said you were available for a specific day but didn't include specific times, I put you in for the full day, so please let me know if you need those times adjusted.) My sincerest apologies if I've accidentally left anyone off the list!
As a friendly reminder, all medical volunteers will need to complete a CampDoc registration (http://app.campdoc.com/register/efep), which is required for all of our volunteers as a means to collect qualifications/credentials, but also gives you access to camper records, incident reports, and the electronic medication administration record.
If you need any assistance, have any questions, or would like more information, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Camp AchieveSaturday, August 10th - Friday, August 16th @ Camp Green Lane, Green Lane, PA

Camp Achieve is a week-long sleepaway camp specifically designed for children ages 8-17 years old living with epilepsy. Every August, we welcome kids to experience the magic of Camp Achieve while a safe, supportive, inclusive environment is ensured by 24/7 medical supervision. Join us for a week jam-packed with fun, traditional summer camp activities such as swimming, canoeing, archery, arts & crafts, a talent show, and so much more! The best part? Campers meet other kids and counselors who understand the challenges of living with epilepsy, build lasting friendships, and grow! In addition to the week of camp from 8/11-8/16, we’re seeking a small number of medical professionals to assist with our counselor orientation day, at Camp Green Lane on Saturday, August 10th.

It's our goal to have 6-7+ Medical Professionals on-site at Camp Achieve at all times, with 1-3 professionals able to be on-call overnight.
