Posted 1 day ago

Pennsylvania Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics and the Healthy Teeth, Healthy Children program is excited to announce that the School Professional Oral health Training (SPOT) toolkit is now ready to view and share!
This comprehensive resource is designed to support all school professionals in promoting oral health within their school communities. The SPOT toolkit includes practical guidance, engaging materials, and evidence-based strategies to help integrate oral health into everyday school life.
A heartfelt thank you to the school nurses that contributed their time, expertise, and resources to help bring this toolkit to life. Your support has been invaluable.
We kindly ask that you share the SPOT toolkit with your school networks and partners through newsletters, emails, and social media platforms. Our goal is to promote topical fluoride varnish (TFV) application programs within schools, and we are here to support any schools interested in starting a TFV program.
If your school district uses the SPOT toolkit, please click the top button on the website to let us know which school districts are engaging with the resources.

If you have any questions or would like assistance in implementing the toolkit or starting a TFV program, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Thank you!
