We heard your feedback, and made the CampDoc registration smoother, simpler, and shorter for medical volunteers, only capturing the most relevant information for volunteering at EFEPA overnight programs!

This is the same link where your patients can register as participants, as well as where you can register to volunteer! Please share these volunteer opportunities with your colleagues, and anyone who may be interested in attending!

Young Adult Retreat: Thursday, April 30th - Sunday, May 3rd @ Camp Green Lane, Green Lane, PA

The Young Adult Retreat focuses on addressing the needs of young adults with epilepsy by developing a supportive network where you can share your own unique experiences and challenges. It’s an opportunity to meet others living with epilepsy, learn essential life and wellness skills, and recognize and build upon personal strengths. All of the weekend’s activities are designed to build a supportive community, dedicate time for socialization, introduce relaxation and stress-management techniques, explore future planning, and time set aside to talk directly with medical professionals. This exciting weekend will leave you feeling refreshed and energized!

We’re seeking 4-5 Medical Professionals to volunteer their time over the Young Adult Weekend, joining in on the fun, as well as assisting with seizure first aid and rescue medication administration.

Camp Achieve: Sunday, August 16th - Friday, August 21st @ Camp Green Lane, Green Lane, PA

Camp Achieve is a week-long sleepaway camp specifically designed for children ages 8-17 years old living with epilepsy. Every August, we welcome kids to experience the magic of Camp Achieve while a safe, supportive, inclusive environment is ensured by 24/7 medical supervision. Join us for a week jam-packed with fun, traditional summer camp activities such as swimming, canoeing, archery, arts & crafts, a talent show, and so much more! The best part? Campers meet other kids and counselors who understand the challenges of living with epilepsy, build lasting friendships, and expand their knowledge of their diagnosis! In addition to the week of camp from 8/16-8/21, we’re seeking a small number of medical professionals to assist with our counselor orientation day at Camp Green Lane on Saturday, August 15th.

It's our goal to have 6-7+ Medical Professionals on-site at Camp Achieve at all times, with 1-2 professionals able to be on-call overnight.

Adult Wellness Weekend: Friday, September 18th - Sunday, September 20th @ Deer Park Camp & Retreat Center, New Hope, PA

Designed for adults ages 30 years and older, the Adult Wellness Weekend provides a safe space for individuals living with epilepsy, or those caring for a child or spouse with epilepsy, to relax, reflect, and recharge, all while connecting with others facing similar daily obstacles. Activities and group sessions will include nature walks, music and art therapy, meditation and mindfulness exercises, and other restorative practices, wellness techniques, community building, and self-care strategies. Medical professionals are on-site for the duration of the retreat to ensure a safe environment.

We’re seeking 3-4 Medical Professionals to volunteer their time over Adult Wellness Weekend, joining us for rest, relaxing, and recharging, as well as assisting with seizure first aid and rescue medication administration.
