BETH ANNE BAHN: WHAT’S IN A NAME?

Posted over 7 years ago by Lori Kelley

As many of you know, Beth Anne Bahn, our Director, Division of School Health, PA Department of Health has retired. Yes, she has RETIRED! As painful as it is for me to write those words and for you to read them, it is TRUE. Beth Ann shared that her last day with the DOH was Monday, January 23, 2017. I trust that the DOH hires a new Director for the vacant position. I am certain we will welcome that person and continue to collaborate and work with them as we have done in the past. However, in my humble opinion, there will only be one Beth Anne Bahn! When I hear or see Beth Anne’s name the following comes to mind:

B – BEAUTIFUL           E – EXCELLENT       T – TENACIOUS           H – HUMBLE

A – ADVOCATOR        N – NURSE             N – NAVIGATOR           E – EXPERIENCED

B – BAND CAMP VOLUNTEER        A – ACCOMPLISHED      H – HOPEFUL    N – NEWLY RETIRED!

There are many more words to describe Beth Anne. No doubt if you have had the pleasure of knowing and working with her, you would add descriptors to the list. I know I have been blessed to call her a friend and colleague. On behalf of our PASNAP members, I offer congratulations to you Beth Anne on your retirement! Thank you for all your years of service.

Wishing you a healthy and exciting new chapter in your future!

Love and hugs from us to you,

Judy Morgitan, President PASNAP
