Support NASN's Efforts to Support School Nurses

During the conference, the NASN Endowment is hosting two fundraising events, Purses for Nurses (a live auction and wine and cheese reception), and the 2nd Annual 5K Walk/Run. 

Funds raised by the Endowment are used to support research about school nursing and the health of school-age children; fund grants that improve school nursing practice and school affiliated delivery of healthcare; and provide scholarships for school nurses seeking graduate degrees and/or certification in advanced nursing practice. 

If you are looking for some fun and want to support the Endowment at the same time, consider signing up to attend these Endowment events.   

The NASN Endowment committee is seeking donations of purses, jewelry, wine (or cash for the purchase of wine) for Purses for Nurses.  Consider coordinating a donation from your district, your County Office of Education School Nursing Program, your affiliate, local school nurse networks or even as an individual.
